Ravneet is a staff lawyer at the Migrant Workers Centre where she focuses on immigration, employment and human rights law. As an immigrant herself, she is committed to using the law to amplify the voices and stories of marginalized communities. She has an LLM from the University of British Columbia (UBC) and a BA and LLB (Honours) from the National Law School of India University in Bangalore, India. She spent a semester at Ghent University, Belgium, where she studied migration and human trafficking. Her education and work pursuits stem from her interest in the stories of people and the desire to empower others. Outside of work, Ravneet can be found exploring the vast wilderness of BC, watching international films and reading.
