Cheryl McCormick (she/her)

I am always happy to talk about dogs and travel :)
I am from the shíshálh Nation (Sechelt Nation). I am grateful to live, work and play on the traditional territory of the Coast Salish peoples, including the territories of the Katzie, Kwantlen, Semiahmoo, and Tsawwassen First Nations.
I have always held a strong passion for advocacy which has led me to my role as an Aboriginal Community Legal Worker, Paralegal for the Surrey Parents Legal Centre. My career has included working as an Indigenous Support Worker, Indigenous Outreach Worker, Employment Counsellor, Legal Information Outreach Worker, Property Manager, and Program Manager. I have worked within transition homes, second stage housing, supportive housing for women with multiple barriers and a School District.
