Carmine Dung
Rise Womens Legal Centre Program Assistant
Vancouver
I help support Legal Navigation & Triage, the Virtual Legal Clinic (VLC), and the Family Advocate Support Line (FASL) at Rise Women's Legal Centre. Rise helps self-identifying women across BC with access to justice for primarily family law-related matters through the student clinic and first two aforementioned programs. Recently we have launched the Equality Clinic which helps with ID and name changes, police and human rights complaints draftings, and notarization. FASL provides free help and information to Legal Advocates, including hosting monthly webinars. The VLC works through a Community Partner model to provide free one-hour summary advice appointments with volunteer lawyers to women outside the Lower Mainland. Feel free to get in touch with me if you'd like to get to know more about how Rise can help you or your clients.
